The term ‘Fabricator’ works perfectly for Jackie, she works with fabrics /found materials to fabricate stories for her ‘little people’.
An avid people watcher; always creating back stories about everyone and when her neighbour left some fence post wire out for the scrap man, she decided to use it to create 3 dimensional sculptures.
She uses bits and pieces that would get thrown away; old maps are perfect props for walkers, broken paintbrushes are used by artists, a broken bicycle mudguard becomes a great slide.
As much as the emphasis is on upcycling, the most important thing is that they make people smile.
